Let's see. He cheated. You finally caught him. BUT, he is still denying that he cheated. What are you going to do about this situation? Well, you have two choices. You can either stay with him or you can leave. It's as simple as that. The decision is up to you. You hold all of the cards at this point in time.
Why? The bottom line is that your man is going to continue to cheat on you as long as you continue to let him. You caught him red handed. That is the only thing that you need to know at this point. YOU know the truth. YOU caught him red handed, not your friend or a neighbor. You have first hand information, not second hand information. What are you going to do with this precious information?
He cheated, but he refuses to tell you the truth. He is not going to tell you the truth if you still continue to believe his lies. Why should he? He is going to continue playing the game as long as you let him. Yes, he is lying about his cheating, but you are the only one that can stop the game playing.
Put your foot down and let it be known that you know about his cheating. You have the proof. You have the power. Use it. Why do you need him to tell you that the sky is blue?

everytime i bring it up he gets violent...i just don't know what to do anymore....i am older and don't want to be alone...and i do love him.

I'm sorry that you are dealing with this. You don't want him to be violent, but you don't want to stick around and put up with what is happening.
You have to make the decision. Be quiet and let him continue.... walk away with the hope that you will find someone else...or walk away and live happily ever after by yourself.
